Southwest Seasoning
Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients
1/2
cup dried cilantro
1/3
cup dried minced onion
1/4
cup dried chives
1/3
cup chili powder (hot or mild)
1/4
cup ground cumin
1/4
cup kosher salt
Directions
- Take a large bowl and add the cilantro, onion,
chives, chili powder, cumin and salt.
- Mix the ingredients together.
- Place my seasoning mixture in a sealed
plastic container.
Picnicking
& Tailgating
Use this in the Southwest Fiesta
Dip Mix or it is even great as a Southwest Seasoning.
Just use it like salt or pepper. If
you like it real hot, then use hot chili powder. However, you might
like to use mild for a calmer taste. I like to combine half mild and
half hot.
