Creole Steak Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/3 - cup mayonnaise

  • 2 - Tablespoon Creole mustard

  • 2-3 - drops hot pepper sauce, to taste

  • 4 - beef fully cooked country fried steak patties

  • 4 - Kaiser rolls, onion rolls or hamburger buns

  • 4 - slices Muenster cheese

  • Red or green leaf lettuce leaves

  • 1/4 - medium red or sweet onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 - large ripe tomato, thinly sliced

  • Directions

    1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Creole mustard and hot pepper sauce together. Set aside.

    2. Microwave steaks according to package directions.  While steaks cook, split rolls and spread Creole mayonnaise mixture over insides of rolls.

    3. Place one steak inside each roll and top with cheese, lettuce leaves, onion and sliced tomato.
