Star-Spangled Cheeseburgers
Makes 4 sandwiches

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

• 1/8 - cup mayonnaise

• 1/8 - cup honey mustard

• 1 - pounds lean ground beef

• Salt and pepper to taste

• 4 - slices American cheese

• 4 - hamburger buns, split

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard. 

2. Using a star-shape cookie cutter, cut star shapes from cheese slices. 

3. Preheat grill to medium. 

4. Lightly shape ground beef into 5 (1/2-inch) thick patties.

5. Cook burgers, uncovered and turning occasionally, 11 to 13 minutes to medium doneness (internal temp 160°F) or until no longer pink in center. 

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 

7. About 1 minute before burgers are done, top with cheese stars.
