Ingredients
- 1 - can (21-ounces) Apple Pie
Filling or Topping
- 1/4 - cup crystallized ginger,
finely chopped
- 1/2 - cup pecans, finely chopped
- 2 - teaspoon ground pumpkin pie spice
- 4 - large slices thick sourdough
bread
- 1-1/2 - cups shredded sharp cheddar
cheese
- 8 - ounces Brie Cheese, cut into 8
slices
Directions
Preheat broiler.
- In a mixing bowl, gently combine
apple topping, ginger, pecans and pumpkin pie spice.
- Spread mixture equally on bread
slices, placing bread on ungreased baking sheet.
- Top each equally with shredded
cheddar cheese and 2 slices of Brie.
- Broil just until cheese bubbles,
1-3 minutes. (Watch carefully.)
- Remove from broiler and serve
immediately.
