Grilled Reuben Sandwich

Warm up your friends with this sandwich sensation made with corned beef topped with juicy sauerkraut and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  •        8  slices rye bread
  •        1  Tablespoon Thousand Island dressing
  •     3/4  pound cooked corned beef, thinly sliced
  •        1  cup sauerkraut, well drained
  •        6  ounces Swiss cheese slices
  • 1-1/2  Tablespoon butter or margarine

Directions

  1. Spread each bread slice with dressing. 

  2. Layer four bread slices with corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese slice and second bread slice, dressing-side down.  Spread outside of each sandwich with butter.

  3. Cook in skillet on medium heat until lightly browned on both sides.
