Italian Sausage Onion and Roquefort Sandwich

Makes 6 servings Sandwich Recipes from AlansKitchen.com

Ingredients:

Onion and Roquefort Dressing

Sandwich

  • 1 package (19.76 ounces) Fresh Italian Sausage Links
  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Directions:

  1. In a medium-mixing bowl, add the onion, blue cheese, olive oil, red wine vinegar, chives, parsley, garlic, steak sauce, salt, and pepper.  Mix, cover, and place in refrigerator. 

  2. Marinate for 2 hours or more. Grill sausage according to package directions. 

  3. Place one grilled sausage on the bottom half of a hoagie roll and top with Onion and Roquefort mix.  Broil until cheese starts to melt and finish with top half of roll.   Serve warm.
