Pork Chop Buns
Makes 4 sandwiches.

4 - cooked thin pork chops
3/4 - cup barbecue sauce
4 - sesame seed hamburger buns, split
2 - Tablespoons butter or margarine
4 - slices onion
4 - green bell pepper rings.

  • In a saucepan, add the pork and barbecue sauce. 
  • Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. 
  • Stir occasionally. 
  • Spread the butter or margarine on each bun slice. 
  • On the broiler rack, place buttered side up. 
  • Place the onion and bell pepper slice on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Broil until each side is golden brown. 
  • Then place the pork mixture on the onion-bell pepper side. 
  • Spoon barbecue sauce over the meat and top with the top bun half.
