Bake Time: 25-30 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 - can (21-ounces) Apricot Fruit Filling
  • 1 - cup diced cooked chicken
  • 1/4 - cup toasted slivered almonds
  • 20 - slices soft white bread

Directions

  1. In food processor or blender container, coarsely chop fruit filling by pulsing several times; transfer to medium bowl.
  2. Stir in chicken and almonds.
  3. Spread mixture on 10 slices of bread and spread filling to within half-inch of edges.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices.
  5. Place in electric sandwich maker or sandwich holder made to be used over open fire and grill until toasted.
