  • 1 - Tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 - cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 - cup green pepper strips
  • 4 - boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/4 pounds
  • 1/3 - cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 - American Cheese Slices
  • 4 - Kaiser rolls, split, toasted

Directions

Preheat broiler.

  1. In skillet on medium heat, add oil, onion and green pepper. 
  2. Cook until tender and set aside.
  3. Brush both sides of chicken breasts with barbecue sauce. 
  4. Broil 6 to 7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  5. Top each chicken breast with cheese slice. 
  6. Broil until process cheese is melted. 
  7. Fill rolls with chicken. 
  8. Top with onion and green pepper.
