Turkey Sloppy JoesPrep Time: 10 min.
Cooking Time: 20 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Fat-Free Ground Turkey
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium white onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1-1/2 cups chili sauce (12 ounce)
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 hamburger buns (4-inch)
  • Green leaf lettuce, optional
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced, optional

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add turkey; crumble and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes; drain.
  4. Stir in chili sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Cook, covered, over low heat for 10 minutes.
  6. Divide mixture evenly over bottom of buns.
  7. Layer on lettuce and tomato, if desired.
  8. Top with remaining buns.
