Turkey Bacon Melt Sandwich
Turkey Bacon Melt SandwichMakes 4 sandwiches

Prep Time: 15 min.
Broiling Time: 1 min.

Ingredients:

  • 6 - Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 - teaspoons adobo sauce from chipotle chile peppers in adobo sauce
  • 8 - slices whole wheat bread, toasted
  • 1/2 - pound thinly sliced deli smoked turkey breast
  • 8 - thin slices tomato
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 - slices crisply cooked bacon strips
  • 8 - slices (3/4-ounce) Deli American Cheese
  • 4 - leaf lettuce leaves

Directions:

Preheat broiler.

  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and adobo sauce. Evenly spread on 1 side of each toast slice.
  2. To assemble sandwiches, layer 4 slices toast, spread-side up, with 1/4 turkey and 2 slices tomato each; sprinkle with black pepper.
  3. Top each with 2 slices bacon and 2 slices cheese.
  4. Place sandwiches onto ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat until cheese begins to melt (1 to 2 minutes).
  6. Top sandwiches with lettuce leaves and remaining toast slices, spread-side down.
