Slow Cooker Recipes from AlansKitchen.comPrep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 to 3 - pounds boneless chuck roast, trimmed
  • 1/2 - pound baby carrots
  • 1 - large onion, cut into thick slices
  • 1 - pound red potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks (about 4 medium potatoes)
  • 1 - package Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast Seasoning
  • 1 - cup red wine

Directions

  1. Place roast and vegetables in slow cooker.
  2. Mix Seasoning and wine until blended.
  3. Pour over roast and vegetables and cover.
  4. Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.
  5. Remove roast and vegetables to serving platter.
  6. Stir sauce before serving.
  7. If you want, thicken sauce.
