Baking Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: LOW 3 to 5 hours or HIGH 2 to 4 hours

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 4 - pounds ground beef
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 2 - cups bread crumbs
  • 1/2 - cup fresh Italian parsley, minced
  • 4 - teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 - teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 - teaspoon dry mustard
  • 4 - eggs, beaten

Spaghetti Sauce

  • 1 - can (28 ounces) peeled tomatoes
  • 2 - Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 - cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 - teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 - teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 - teaspoon pepper
  • 2 - garlic cloves or more to taste, finely minced

Pasta, cooked

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add ground beef,  onions,  bread crumbs, Italian parsley, garlic, black pepper, dry mustard, and eggs.
  2. Form into walnut sized balls.
  3. Place meatballs into a large baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, add tomatoes, olive oil, basil,  sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic.
  5. Place meatballs into slow cooker and pour over sauce.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 4 hours.
  7. Adjust seasoning and serve with cooked pasta.
