Breakfast Casserole

Slow Cooker Recipes from AlansKitchen.comMakes 8 to 10 servings
Prep Time: 10 min.
Cooking Time: HIGH 2 hrs. and LOW 1 hr.

Ingredients:

  • 6        eggs, beaten
  • 1        pound little smokies (cocktail wieners) or 1-1/2 pounds bulk sausage, browned and drained
  • 1-1/2  cups milk
  • 1        cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8        slices bread, torn into pieces
  • 1        teaspoon salt
  • 1/2     teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1        cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix eggs, smokies (or sausage), milk, Cheddar cheese, bread, salt, and mustard.
  2. Pour into a creased slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top.
  4. You want to cover and Cook on HIGH for 2 hours and then on LOW for 1 hour.
