Easy Nacho Dip

Makes 10 to 15 servingsSlow Cooker Recipes from AlansKitchen.com

Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: LOW 2 hrs.

Ingredients:

  • 1        pound ground beef

  • 1/4     teaspoon salt

  • 1/8     teaspoon pepper

  • 1/4     teaspoon onion powder

  • 2        garlic cloves, minced (optional)

  • 2        jars (16-ounces) salsa (hot or mild)

  • 1        can (15-ounces) refried beans

  • 1-1/2  cups sour cream

  • 3        cups Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided

  •           Tortilla chips

Directions:

  1. In a frying pan, brown ground beef. Add salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic.

  2. In your slow cooker, add beef, salsa, beans, sour cream and 2-cups cheese.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours.  Just before serving I like to add the remaining 1 cup cheese.  You want to serve with tortilla chips.
