French Onion Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: LOW 8 to 10 hours or HIGH 4 to 5 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 - Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 - pounds boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 1 - can (10-1/2 ounces) French onion soup
  • 1 - cup ketchup
  • 1/4 - cup cider vinegar
  • 3 - Tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 12 - sandwich rolls

Directions:

  1. In large skillet, add oil and heat. 

  2. Add roast and brown on all sides. 

  3. Place the roast in a 5-quart slow cooker.

  4. In a bowl, mix the soup, ketchup, vinegar and sugar. 

  5. Pour over roast.

  6. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or HIGH 4 to 5 hours or until done.

  7. Remove roast from slow cooker. Cool slightly.

  8. Shred pork, using 2 forks. Return to slow cooker.

  9. Serve pork and sauce on rolls.
