African Style Turkey on Couscous

Cooking Time: 6 to 8 hours on LOW or 3 to 4 hours on HIGHSlow Cooker Recipes from AlansKitchen.com

Ingredients:

  • 2 - pounds turkey breast, boneless, skinless, cut into 2- x 1/2-inch slices

  • 1 - onion, chopped

  • 4 - cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 - teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 1 - teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

  • 1 - teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 - teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 - Tablespoon lemon juice

  • couscous, hot, cooked

Directions:

  1. Combine turkey, onion, garlic, crushed red pepper, ginger, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in slow cooker.

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.

  3. Serve over couscous.
