Beef Stew II

Cooking Time: LOW 4 to 6 hours or HIGH 2 to 3 hours
Ingredients
- 1/2 - cup all-purpose flour

1 - teaspoon salt

1 - teaspoon pepper

4 - pounds beef chuck, cubed

4 - Tablespoons olive oil

2 - onions, sliced

1 - cup mushrooms, sliced

1 - cup fresh parsley, minced

6 - teaspoons garlic, minced

4 - bay leaves
-
2 - cups red or white wine
-
1 - cup beef broth
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, you want to add the
flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge beef in flour mixture and add to a
frying pan with olive oil at medium heat.
- Sear beef on all sides.
- Add browned beef to slow cooker.
- Add your onions, mushrooms, parsley, garlic,
bay leaves, wine and broth.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours
or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.
