Quick and Easy Beef Stew
Makes 8 (1-cup) servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 - pounds boneless beef sirloin steak,
cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 - Tablespoons flour
- 1 - Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 - package McCormick® Beef Stew
Seasoning Mix
- 3 - cups water
- 1 - bag (24 ounces) frozen vegetables
for stew or 5 cups assorted cut-up fresh vegetables
Directions
- Coat steak cubes with flour. Heat oil in
large skillet or Dutch oven on medium-high heat.
- Add steak cubes, 1/2 at a time; brown on
all sides. Drain. Repeat with remaining steak cubes.
- Stir Seasoning Mix and water into
skillet.
- Add vegetables and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15
minutes or until vegetables are tender
