Fried Chicken in Bacon Drippings
Southern Home Cooking Makes 3 to 4 servings

Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: 30 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 - cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 - chicken, cut up (about 3-1/2 pounds)
  • 1 - Tablespoon salt
  • 2 - teaspoons paprika
  • 1 - teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 - Tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 - cup bacon drippings

Directions:

  1. You want to mix the flour with the salt, paprika, black pepper, and poultry seasoning.
  2. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture.
  3. Preheat your frying pan with bacon drippings at medium heat.
  4. Fry in pan for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels before serving.
