Open-Faced Tuna Melt Sandwiches

Prep Time: 10 min.
Broiling Time: 3 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 - cans (6-ounce) solid white tune in spring water (drained)
  • 1/4 to 1/3 - cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 - teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 - teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 - teaspoon sugar
  • 3 - English muffins (split and toasted)
  • 1 - cup (4-ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, you want to stir together tuna, mayonnaise, slat, pepper, and sugar.
  2. Spread tuna mixture evenly over cut sides of muffin halves.
  3. Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
  4. Place on baking pan and broil 5-inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.
