Pichola
Makes 4 servings

Cooking Time: 1 hr + 30 min
Ingredients:
- 1 pound
fresh lean beef, cubed
- 1 onion,
chopped
- 2 cup
tomatoes, fresh or canned
- 1 teaspoon
salt
- 2
Tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can
(number 2) hominy
Directions:
- Brown the pork or beef cubes and
onion in a heavy skillet.
- Add the tomatoes, salt, chili
powder, and water.
- Turn down the heat to a simmer,
cover the skillet, and cook 1 hour or until meat is
soft.
- Add the hominy, cook 30 minutes
longer, and serve in bowls.
