Fresh Fruit Salsa w/ Sweet Tortilla Chips

A friend of ours passed this recipe on to us.  We made it and really enjoyed it.  Make a little picnic or tailgate surprise.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 10 - 15 minutes

Ingredients Directions

Preheat oven to 200° F.

  1. In a large bowl, you want to mix the strawberries, kiwis, Granny Smith apple, orange marmalade, orange rind, blackberries, and raspberries.
  2. Sprinkle on the 1/2 cup sugar and toss lightly to blend the sugar.
  3. In a small bowl, mix sugar and water.  Then brush the tortillas with the sugar water.
  4. Cut flour tortillas into chip sizes.  Place on an un-greased cookie sheet and baked 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Cool for 5 minutes and dust with confectionery sugar.
