Oven Temperatures

Oven temperatures may be quoted in degrees Fahrenheit (in USA), in Celsius (International) or by gas mark (UK and sometimes France). This table allows you to convert between the scales. Bold gas mark numbers are the most well-accepted matches.

Different manufacturers and oven types do vary, particularly for fractional gas marks. Ovens are often inaccurate by 25° Fahrenheit or more.
