Chopping

Meaning

To chop is when you dice foods into pieces around 2cms in diameter which is thicker then a dice or a mince. Generally chopping of food doesn't need to be perfectly even.

How

For example to chop a carrot you would begin by peeling the carrot. Then you would slice the carrot in half and then proceed to chop the halved carrots into pieces around 2cm thick.
