1) In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, and

to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute.
4) Pour boiling mixture over cabbage mixture. Toss to mix well.
You can keep this salad for several
weeks in the refrigerator. It does get better with age.
