Lemon Broccoli Amandine

Ingredients
- 3/4 - pound fresh broccoli, trimmed,
cut into spears
- 3/4 - cup water
- 1/4 - cup Butter
- 1/4 - cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/4 - teaspoon salt
- 1 - teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 - teaspoon freshly grated lemon
peel
Directions
- Place broccoli and water in 2-quart
saucepan. Bring to a full boil.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 8
to 10 minutes or until broccoli is crisply tender. Drain.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in l-quart
saucepan. Stir in almonds, salt, lemon juice, and lemon peel.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring
occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
- To serve, you want to spoon butter
sauce over warm broccoli spears.
