Sweet & Sour Coleslaw

• 1 head red cabbage, shredded

• 2 stalks celery, diced

• 2 yellow onions, sliced

• 4 carrots, thin sliced

• 1/2 green bell pepper, thin sliced

• 1 teaspoon celery seed

• Dressing

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

1. Place cabbage, celery, onions, carrots, bell pepper, and celery seed in large mixing bowl.

2. In a small mixing bowl, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, and water. 

3. Fold in these ingredients to the cabbage bowl. 

4. Cool and serve.

Picnicking & Tailgating:

Put into a plastic container and seal.  Place in ice chest until you are ready to eat.  Open and serve.  Everyone is sure to enjoy.
